  • A bespoke Shopify website that has been built using custom development of a Shopify theme and hand-coded sections made with HTML, CSS and Shopify Liquid code to create a uniquely on-brand experience for your customers.

  • Email marketing integration set up so that you can grow your email list, 404 page not found page, reviews app integration.

  • Additional features available based on your requirements, plus your first 5 product listings uploaded for you as standard.

  • Website questionnaire to make sure we’re designing a site that aligns with your goals and target customer.

Process

With Finding Design, there's no jargon, no lengthy back and forth and no long stretches of silence while you wonder what's happening. I've spent years refining a process that works, guiding you through every stage so you always know what's next.

Timeline

Most projects take 4 to 6 weeks, depending on complexity. Larger builds with more integrations or additional pages can take longer, though you'll have clear timelines from the outset.

Investment

Most projects range from £3,500 to £5,000, depending on the level of customisation and functionality involved. Every store starts from a theme, and how far that gets tailored depends on your goals and budget.

The process of designing and developing your custom Shopify website

  • Step one: Enquire

    Every project starts with your enquiry, so share as much detail as you can. Once it lands in my inbox, I'll review it and, if it's the right fit for us both given timelines, budget and your needs, I'll be in touch within 2 working days to book a call.

    After we've spoken, you'll receive a custom proposal covering exactly how I'd design and develop your Shopify site, along with scope, timelines and payment options.

  • Step two: Project prep

    Ready to go ahead? A deposit secures your place, and you'll be added to Asana, my project management tool, where we'll plan, communicate and rack everything as we go.

    You'll also receive an in-depth questionnaire covering your business, your brand values, your ideal clients and your vision for the site. I'll ask for your brand assets, images and website copy at this stage too. If you don't have those ready yet, the FAQs below cover what to do next.

  • Step three: Design and development

    This is where the work begins, and you get to sit back.

    For Signature Shopify projects, I start by designing a semi-interactive mockup of your new website, giving you the chance to review, feedback and adjust before development begins.

  • Step four: Launch and celebrate

    Once the build is complete and final payment is made, your new Shopify website is live and ready to share with your customers.

    You'll also receive training videos, instruction guides and 3 weeks of email support, so you feel fully confident managing your website going forward.

  • Every Shopify website starts from a theme, that's how the platform works. What changes is how far that gets customised, which depends on your goals and budget.

    Some projects use targeted styling and sections built around a premium theme. Others involve far more extensive development filled with intricate code and hand-built sections and features. Either way, the focus stays the same: your products and your brand come through clearly, rather than settling for whatever a theme does by default.

  • Shopify is built specifically for product-based businesses, handling inventory, shipping and listings without you needing to manage all of it manually. Paired with careful design and development, it becomes a store that works hard behind the scenes while looking exactly the way your brand deserves.

  • Yes. Shopify's back end is simple to use, with strong inventory management and plenty of apps to support other parts of your business. You'll also get personalised video guides from me.

  • Only at the key moments, so you can get on with running your business. Collaboration and communication matter a great deal to me, since your website is the public face of your business and it has to feel right. I map out the process before the project begins, so you know exactly when your feedback will be needed and can plan around it. Your input is requested at the moments that matter most, and every round of feedback helps shape a site you’ll genuinely love.

  • Ideally, yes. Having your product photography and website copy ready means I can design a store that shows off what you sell properly and puts your key messaging where it belongs from day one.

    If you're not quite there yet, it's fine to book in advance, and I'm happy to recommend copywriters or photographers in the meantime.

  • Projects can be split into 2, 3 or 4 payments, with a 50% deposit due before the start date.
