Lonely Girls Club is on a mission to help women build meaningful friendships through local events and communities across the UK.
As the community has grown, they needed a website that made it easier for members to discover events, stay connected with their local city and manage everything from one place. This project was built through my Elevated E-commerce Shopify service, where I designed and developed a completely bespoke Shopify website tailored to the needs of their community.
The new website makes joining the community simple and helps members stay up to date with events happening near them. I also integrated an events booking app, allowing the team to move away from Eventbrite and manage bookings directly through Shopify, creating a smoother experience for both members and the team behind the scenes.
Alongside the bespoke design, I installed an app to create a password-protected members-only areas, giving the community access to exclusive perks from their brand partners.
The finished website combines playful branding with thoughtful user journeys, creating a welcoming online experience that reflects the warmth and inclusivity of the Lonely Girls Club community while giving the team a platform that can continue to grow with them.
It’s also been such a pleasure to see the Lonely Girls Community expand to new locations and thrive, and I also recommend their events if you’re looking to make some new friends!
