Every stage is tracked in Asana, so nothing gets lost and nothing catches you by surprise.

Timeline

Most Signature Squarespace projects take up to 4 weeks from kick-off to delivery, depending on the number of pages and the level of custom development involved. If you need to launch sooner, the Squarespace website intensive is built for exactly that.

Investment

The Signature Squarespace starts at £3,500 for a 5 page website with add-on pages available. The final investment depends on your page count, the complexity of the build and any custom integrations you need. Get in touch for a tailored quote.

The process of designing and developing your Squarespace website

  • Step one: Enquire

    Every project starts with your enquiry, so share as much detail as you can. Once it lands in my inbox, I'll review it and, if it's the right fit for us both given timelines, budget and your needs, I'll be in touch within 2 working days to book a call.

    After we've spoken, you'll receive a custom proposal covering exactly how I'd design and develop your Squarespace site, along with scope, timelines and payment options.

  • Step two: Project prep

    Ready to go ahead? A deposit secures your place, and you'll be added to Asana, my project management tool, where we'll plan, communicate and track everything as we go.

    You'll also receive an in-depth questionnaire covering your business, your brand values, your ideal clients and your vision for the site. I'll ask for your brand assets, images and website copy at this stage too. If you don't have those ready yet, the FAQs below cover what to do next.

  • Step three: Design and development

    This is where the work begins, and you get to sit back.

    For Signature Squarespace projects, I start by designing an interactive mockup of your new website, giving you the chance to review, feedback and adjust before development begins.

    For the website intensive, the process moves faster. You'll approve a homepage mockup first, and the rest of the site is built to match, so the finished website feels considered and consistent throughout.

  • Step four: Launch and celebrate

    Once the build is complete and final payment is made, your new Squarespace website is live and ready to share with the world.

    You'll also receive training videos, instruction guides and 3 weeks of email support, so you feel fully confident managing your website going forward.

  • Yes. Once your website is designed and developed, I'll hand everything over with instruction guides, video tutorials and 3 weeks of email support, so you feel confident getting familiar with it. Squarespace itself is intuitive, and you'll be able to update copy, add blog posts, duplicate pages and adjust SEO settings without needing any technical background.

  • A fully custom website can be a big investment, especially early in a business. If you'd like a smaller Squarespace site but still want the build handled by a professional, the website intensive is built for exactly that.

  • Only at the key moments, so you can get on with running your business. Collaboration and communication matter a great deal to me, since your website is the public face of your business and it has to feel right. I map out the process before the project begins, so you know exactly when your feedback will be needed and can plan around it. Your input is requested at the moments that matter most, and every round of feedback helps shape a site you’ll genuinely love.

  • Yes. A Mini Brand Identity can be added to your website project, giving your business the visual foundations it needs before we move into design. That way, your new site feels cohesive and fully aligned with your brand from the outset.

  • I take on custom website projects up to 3 months in advance, and availability moves quickly. If you know you'll want a new Squarespace website in the coming months, it's worth getting in touch early to secure your place.

  • Ideally, yes. With your copy and photography ready, I can design a Squarespace website that represents your style and puts your core messaging front and centre from day one. If you don't have those yet, it's often best to book your project in for after they're ready, and I'm happy to recommend copywriters or photographers in the meantime.

  • Projects can be split into 2, 3 or 4 payments, with 50% due before the start date.
