Once we’ve got through the (boring but necessary) contracts stage, we’ll jump straight into the Website Questionnaire - which is your chance to share your goals, your vision, your wildly ambitious dreams with me, so I can start translating them into web design and development
I’ll put my design-hat on and create an interactive website mockup for you to approve before I dive into the build
I’ll build your website in Squarespace, taking care of every tiny detail (including custom code!) for you
after two rounds of revisions to make everything perfect, it’s handed over to you with all the support, guides and instructions you need to feel confident with your new website
… and every single stage of the process is managed through Asana, so we both know what’s coming up and the project stays on track!

The process of designing & developing your Squarespace website

First things first, every project begins with you sending off your enquiry form to me (with as much detail as possible!). When that hits my inbox, I’ll review it and if the project’s the right fit for us both (depending on timelines, budgets, your needs, etc) I’ll reach out within 2 working days to get a Zoom chat booked in.
After we’ve chatted, I’ll send you a custom proposal outlining how I can design and develop your new Squarespace site for you, as well as the little details like scope, timelines and payment plans.

If you’re happy to go ahead with the project, I’ll ask you to pay a deposit to secure your booking and then you’ll be invited to my project management tool, Asana - which is where we’ll chat, plan out the project and keep everything on track.
I’ll also send you a discovery workbook to complete. But don’t worry; it’s not as scary as it sounds! It’s an in-depth questionnaire that asks you lots of questions about your business, your brand values, your ideal clients, and your vision for your Squarespace website. I’ll also ask you to send me your brand identity, website images and website copy before we kick off (but if you don’t have those bits, head to the FAQs!).

Now it’s time to sit back and relax, while I get to work!
The first thing I’ll do is design an interactive mockup of what your new website could look like, before I dive into the actual build. This is your chance to provide feedback, suggestions and changes before I start developing your website in Squarespace.

Once the website is finished and your final payment has been made, you’re the proud owner of a brand new custom Squarespace website - congratulations! It’s time to share it with the world!
After your website is finished, you’ll receive plenty of recorded training videos, instruction guides and 3 weeks of email support too - so that you feel confident in managing your website yourself.

The Squarespace platform is really intuitive to use, so you’ll be able to make edits to your copy, add new blog posts, duplicate pages, change your SEO settings, etc. easily.

I take bookings for custom website design projects up to 3 months in advance - and I do get booked up pretty quickly! So if you know you’re ready for a brand new Squarespace website in the next few months, get your enquiry in as early as possible so we can get started!

With your website copy and photography in hand, I’ll be able to design a Squarespace website that not only represents your style, but also puts your core brand messaging in the limelight, so your website grabs your ideal client’s attention with a creative combination of copy and design.
If you don’t already have website copy or photography, I’d recommend booking your website design in for after that’s ready - and I’m happy to support you during that process, with resources and recommendations for other businesses who can help with your website copy and photography.

Projects can be divided up into 4 x payments of which a 50% deposit must be made before the project start date.
